Welcome!

I’m Natalie Emma Ilsley, an AHRC-funded doctoral researcher at the University of Manchester. I am also an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

My research interests are mostly within displacement, 20th century literature, and qualitative (artistic) methods. They include theories of resilience, the intersection of postcolonial literatures and cultures, migration and diaspora; arts-based research as a form of inquiry; representations of displaced women; representations of contemporary migration.

You can get in touch via email or follow me on Twitter @NatalieEmma123. You can also access my ORCiD, University and Google Scholar profiles.
